| The registration at Shipdex is subject to a payment of an initial fee of 2,500€ + VAT. Shipdex™ is a non profit organisation whose scope is to develop, maintain and promote an international protocol to standardize electronic exchange of the technical data among shipping industry.
Shipdex™ Protocol is available to all upon registration as member of Shipdex™ community.
The first registration fee will allow to be a member of Shipdex™ community and to receive your Company entitled, controlled and numbered copy of “Shipdex™ Protocol specification” together with the Agreement for use of Shipdex™ Protocol that will allow to use it under Copyright rules.
REGISTRATION FEES
Admission as a registered member to Shipdex™ community is subject to a registration fee of 2,500.00 (two thousands and five hundreds Euros) + VAT for the first time and subsequently to an annual fee of 500.00€ (five hundreds Euros) + VAT. The first registration fee will allow you also: -
To participate free of charge, subject to reservation, to seminars and conferences ( compatible with allowed places due to the fixed number of participants) organised by Shipdex™ organisation; -
To propose changes, modifications, implementation and maintenance in general of the protocol to SPMG (Shipdex™ Protocol Maintenance Group) using the web site through member section accessible by Login and Password; -
To be inserted in the published list of members for Shipdex™ community; -
To have one year subscription.
Annual subscription fee will allow you: - To renew Agreement for use of Shipdex™ Protocol;
- To propose changes, modifications, implementation and maintenance in general of the protocol to SPMG (Shipdex™ Protocol Maintenance Group) using the web site through member section accessible by Login and Password;
- To download updated copies of “Shipdex™ Protocol specification” in consequences of changes, modifications, implementation and maintenance in general performed by the SPMG (Shipdex™ Protocol Maintenance Group).
Your fee will also contribute to maintaining the Shipdex™ website and promoting and advertising the Shipdex™ Protocol within the shipping industry as far as to maintain contacts and exchanges with other industries Technical Data Standardisation Associations like ASD, ATA, ISO, IMO etc.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
"You can require a registration as "Single Company" or as "Company Group".
If you wish to register as a Company Group, please proceed by checking the appropriate radio button on the registration form; once your registration request has been accepted, you will be allowed to submit the registration requests for your subsidiaries, free of charge.
Please be advised that in order for any of your subsidiaries to be registered free of charge, at least 51% must be owned by the registered Company Group.
As your registration request is submitted an automatic e-mail will be sent to your Shipdex™ Focal Point e-mail address with the information and instructions in order to complete the registration to Shipdex™ Protocol.
As the payment of the registration fee is confirmed, the registration process will be completed and an automatic e-mail will be sent to your Shipdex™ Focal Point e-mail address with the following information:
- Your user ID and password
- Your Manufactured Identification Code (if you requested the registration as a manufacturer)
- Your registration expiration date
- A numbered copy of latest Shipdex protocol technical specification issue
